Email Service Update

The Demon Mail platform has suffered a series of related issues at specific times over the last 10 days which has resulted in a poor service to our customers. During these specific times the system has been intermittently unable to process either incoming or outbound mail where some mails may have been bounced to sender or rejected.

We believe that the outstanding issues are resolved and the platform is operating normally.  We are, however, undertaking a full platform audit and an end to end technical review to ensure service remains stable. In the meantime, remedial recovery action has been completed, but as a precaution we are postponing any further mail migrations – scheduled for next week – whilst this review is in progress and the platform is being closely monitored in the interim. Customers who have already received notification for next week’s migration will be contacted separately.

We understand the importance to our customers of a reliable email system and the current issue has the highest level of focus in our business.

We regret the service disruption experienced by customers recently and we are doing everything necessary to ensure stability is achieved.
